Tahaurí (loving the light forever)

Newly arrived and in awe, we so love this life,

Life is joy! The scent of flowers, grass…

Then someone tells the terrible news:

You die. All you love is lost.

I put away some joy and walked with a longing

mixed with a sorrow I couldn’t quite place.

Afraid to fully open to that kind of betrayal.

And then a tree in yellow flower gives the second part:

All continues,

even you.

We get to keep loving the Light forever

The particular flowers change, perhaps.

The particular you changes, certainly.

But it is still You;

All is made new.

If you let it go,

you can keep it.
